Mic Pick-Up Demo

This is a demo of picking up conference participants from up to 20 feet away. The participants are the following distances from the microphone: 4 feet, 6 feet, 8 feet and 18 feet.

In this demo, you'll hear a conversation between four people from varied distances from the microphone. Imagine you are the remote participant listening in on the conversation. Can you hear everyone talking? Can you tell which participant is 18 feet away from the microphone?

The SoundStation VTX 1000 with external microphones in either wideband or narrowband mode has a microphone pick up range of 40 feet wide and 54 feet long. This enables everyone to be heard in the conference room, whether you are sitting in the back of the room, writing on a whiteboard or sitting in overflow seating.
